How do I get my brother to like school?

My little brother is in 4th grade and he hates school. He keeps saying that he is going to be a stuntman or something outrageous and I just want him to be prepared to get a practical job if his dreams didn't work. He says that he's just gonna drop out of high school ( or even middle school which scares me ) and wing it. Sometimes he gets fed up with his math or reading and he yells and shouts and it really pisses me off. He is so negative about his school work and I hate it. Sometimes I just want to smack him across the face. So, I want to see if there are any ideas that will get him to like school. And also, I am not a big fan of bribery. His teacher gives the kids homework passes and fake money to buy the homework passes and if he could, I bet he would use them all the time. I hate that. When I'm a mom, I won't let my kids use that kind of stuff.
